Few if any cars in today’s market can match the Volkswagen Jetta when it comes to offering something for everybody. The Jetta is the most affordable German sedan on the road, and it’s earned a loyal following for its driving dymanics, upscale appointments and German-engineered safety. With no fewer than 3 trim levels, three engines and three transmissions, there’s a Jetta that’s just right for anyone.
Distinctively European in appearance, this athletic sedan is available with alloy wheels, xenon lights, a chrome grille, fog-lamps, a sunroof, a rear spoiler and more. A full line of dealer-installed upgrades is available for customization, too. The upscale atmosphere carries on inside. Set off by metallic accents and signature blue illumination, Jetta’s driver-centric cabin features high-visibility gauges, plenty of storage and plenty of space. Air, cruise and a full suite of power accessories are standard. Shoppers can also take advantage of automatic climate control, a sunroof and leather seating, if desired. The impressive selection carries on under the Jetta’s hood. Standard is a silky-smooth 2.5 litre, 170 horsepower five-cylinder engine, which comes with a five-speed stick or six-speed automatic transmission. For maximum mileage, consider VW’s 2-litre TDI Clean Diesel engine with a six-speed manual or six-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG). If maximum performance sounds more like your thing, a two-litre turbocharged gas engine with 200 horsepower and a six-speed manual can be specified. Safety is another important Jetta attribute-- and it comes in the form of standard side and curtain airbags, rear-impact optimized headrests and the LATCH child seat mounting system.
